Trauma was one of the very first things I was trained in after graduate school over a decade ago. At that time, the mental health field was realizing that trauma was more widespread and invasive than anyone in the medical and mental health fields had been acknowledging. Luckily, trauma informed care has become the standard. I have spent 12 years learning how to be a trauma informed provider, putting your experiences and your needs before my education and knowledge. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, DBT, and Attachment strategies to help you get relief from stress and anxiety.
